Dispatch Leader

(Please apply only if you have Dispatcher experience - Dispatching of Technicians for handyman services. If you do not have dispatching experience - please do not send your application)

Fixtman is currently looking for a Dispatcher.

The Dispatcher strategically creates schedules and coordinates which technicians go out to which jobsites. The dispatcher keeps records, monitors, and maintains logs for technician. When someone calls for a technician on an emergency basis, the Dispatcher will coordinate about which technician to send.

Essential Role:

• Maintaining responsibility for dispatching all of the company's technicians in a manner that maximizes efficiency and ensures customer satisfaction

• Monitor any sudden request from customers in the platform that is in charge

• Monitor any issues and work with customer and technician to establish new job request, job task for the customer and technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Answering the communication of technicians and related customers, timely scheduling of appointments, and calling to confirm appointments

• Maintaining pleasant demeanor and commitment to customer service

• Serving as first point of contact for clients thus setting the tone of the experience

• Providing directions from any major artery within the city; obtaining directions through use of mapping technology as needed

• Redirecting client challenges to management as needed

• You are responsible to fill out daily tasks at ERP in accordance with the mentioned principles in the orientation file.

• Thoroughly confirming with all technicians to assure that no job is missed.

• Ensure that all technicians get to the job site on time.

• Follow up on each project to ensure completion.

• Follow up with the customers on payment.

• Answering in-bound calls from customers and assessing their needs

• Scheduling and dispatching technicians to customer's homes or businesses

• Performing office clerical work, such as filing and organizing

• Working as a team player and contributing to the team accordingly

• Performing other duties as assigned and the ability to provide same day availability to team members in order to accommodate client's needs

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

• Previous experience as Dispatcher is a plus

• General computer literacy

• Must be efficient with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks

• Must have strong skills in organization and planning; demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and problem-solving

• Ability to work in a team environment in high-pressure situations

• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential

• Strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the immediate area
