Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Director leads the firm's end-to-end recruitment strategy, ensuring the timely acquisition of top consulting, technical, and project-based talent. This role oversees multi-region hiring operations, partners closely with client delivery teams, and establishes scalable recruitment frameworks to support dynamic project demands in a consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Workforce Planning for Consulting Projects
- Partner with Practice Leads, Engagement Managers, and Delivery Heads to forecast talent needs across ongoing and upcoming projects. Align hiring strategies with project pipelines, billability targets, skill shortages, and client requirements.
Client-Facing Recruitment Partnership
- Act as the recruitment advisor during client engagementssupporting proposal staffing, presenting talent plans, advising on market availability, and ensuring the firm can meet client SLA commitments for talent deployment.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary TA team, including recruiters, sourcers, and onboarding specialists. Establish performance metrics and build capability for niche, technical, and consulting-specific hiring.
High-Volume & Niche Talent Acquisition
- Oversee recruitment efforts for consultants, analysts, project managers, technical experts, and specialized SMEs across various practices (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Cloud, Analytics, Cybersecurity, Finance Consulting, etc.).
Process Optimization & Best Practices
- Implement scalable recruitment processes that support a fast-paced consulting environment. Optimize the use of ATS systems, automate workflows, and streamline consultant deployment to reduce lead time for project staffing.
Employer Branding for a Consulting Environment
- Strengthen the firm's employer brand through targeted campaigns, partnerships with universities, industry groups, and digital recruitment marketing to attract high-caliber consultants and subject-matter experts.
Talent Pool & Bench Management
- Build and maintain strong networks and talent pipelines to support rapid mobilization for new projects. Oversee bench strategy, internal redeployment, and proactive sourcing for frequently requested skills.
Recruitment Governance & Compliance
- Ensure end-to-end hiring processes follow company policies, labor laws, and client-specific compliance requirements (e.g., background checks, certification standards, onboarding SLAs).
Vendor, Budget, and Tools Management
- Manage recruitment budgets, external agencies, job boards, assessment tools, and sourcing partners to ensure cost-effective and high-quality talent acquisition.
Data-Driven Insights & Reporting
- Utilize recruitment analytics to drive decisions. Track KPIs such as time-to-fill, readiness-to-staff, sourcing channel effectiveness, offer acceptance rate, and consultant utilization impact.
