The Opportunity
As a key member of the Global Supply Chain leadership team, this role is responsible for maximizing short-term supply (0-4 months) and balancing mid-to-long-term supply vs. demand (4-36 months) to achieve customer satisfaction, financial targets, and optimize inventory and cost. You will provide critical insights and options on supply constraints for decision-making and ensure alignment of raw material supply with internal and external capacity. This position drives the monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process, translating demand signals into actionable supply plans across all Work Centers (Wafer Supply, Probe, Assembly, Final Test).
What You Will Do
- Lead the monthly Operations Supply SIOP Review, incorporating inputs from Demand Planning and Work Center Supply Reviews, delivering supply scenarios, opportunities, and risks with mitigation actions to leadership.
- Drive supply optimization by collaborating with Demand Planning, Master Scheduling, Operations, and Suppliers to develop an optimized SIOP supply plan.
- Develop and coach the monthly Supply Review process for each Work Center, ensuring robust data analysis and incorporating unconstrained market demand and demand plans.
- Confirm available and committed capacity for internal operations and external suppliers to inform supply planning.
- Manage overall Supply Chain constraints, escalating issues to Operations before supply plan publication.
- Collaborate with Master Scheduling to ensure order fulfillment, quarterly revenue achievement, and supply plan execution align with financial targets.
- Analyze on-time delivery performance and drive continuous improvement in supply planning processes, implementing industry best practices.
- Ensure ERP and MRP II master data integrity in conjunction with IT, Master Scheduling, and Work Center Planning teams.
- Coordinate with Finance/Accounting on inventory carrying costs and ensure project impacts (e.g., new Work Center transitions, EOL, strategic sourcing) are reflected in the SIOP process.
- Manage Supply Planning Analysts, overseeing workload during constraints and customer escalations.
- Incorporate and communicate SIOP consensus and executive decisions into supply planning and inventory processes.
- Champion a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, educating the team on technology&aposs value.
Who You Are
- BA/BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Fifteen plus years of experience in operations management roles, with a preference for SIOP or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) experience. ERP, MRP II, and Demand Planning systems experience is required. Semiconductor industry experience is preferred.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional/global projects with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong supply chain knowledge, with demonstrated experience in building, ramping, and maturing teams and business processes in a global, matrixed organization.
- Required experience in material planning and supplier coordination.
- Change management expertise, with the ability to lead organizational transformation in a rapid growth environment.
- Strong financial acumen, executive presence, and excellent collaboration skills with internal and external partners.
- Policy Deployment and strategic planning experience.
- Exceptional time management, critical thinking, leadership, and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
