Your Role
The Director of Revenue Cycle will be joining a vibrant cross-shore consulting leadership team and be responsible for building the Philippines-based team from its start. As the capability leader of this new team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the growth strategy, including the requirements critical to success, while maintaining a high level of team performance quality. Paramount to this role will be building trust and relationships with global counterparts and stakeholders and creating the strategy on how to best partner on solutions. Your position, in this matrixed environment, will also be to create a one-team culture.

As a Director - Revenue Cycle, you will:

Establish, Build, and Lead the Philippines Revenue Cycle team
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan in the Philippines, including setting up the necessary infrastructure, hiring key personnel, and creating operational processes.
Operational Management and Coordination
  • Oversee day-to-day operations in collaboration with Huron global operations, especially those in the US and India, ensuring all processes are running smoothly and efficiently
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-shore leadership on workforce planning, team effectiveness, and defining roles and responsibilities.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for project teams working with cross-shore members, driving issue resolution.
  • Build strong relationships with global counterparts and stakeholders as a cross-shore ambassador.
  • Coordinate with corporate stakeholders (HR, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development) for team needs and administrative functions.
Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages professional development and growth.
  • Drive team growth through coaching, mentoring, and career path development.
Financial Oversight:
  • Develop and manage the divisionu0027s budget, ensuring financial targets are met. Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
Compliance and Risk Management:
  • In partnership with our local partner and Huron global operations, ensure all operations comply with local regulations and industry standards. Identify and mitigate potential risks to the divisionu0027s success.
Drive Growth:
  • Work with our US-based sales teams to pursue growth opportunities, including expanding the client base, developing new services, and enhancing existing offerings. Implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

What You Need
Non-negotiables
  • Work Experience: 10 years experience in revenue cycle management, 5 years experience managing RCM operations for US-based clients, 3 years in a senior leadership role (director or above).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • RCM Knowledge: Strong experience with revenue cycle management (RCM) operations, especially in clinical RCM (Clinical Documentation Improvement, Coding, Utilization Review, Clinical Denials & Appeals) and/or non-clinical RCM (Insurance Verification/Authorization, voice, customer service functions)
  • Software Knowledge: Experience working with large EMR (Cerner, EPIC, Meditech)
  • Organic Growth: Experience building a new RCM solution, service line, or team
Preferred skills/expertise
  • Work Experience: Experience working in the Philippines RCM industry
  • Education: Master's degree or credential in business, healthcare, or related field preferred
  • Credential/Certification: MD/RN, CCDS/CDIP, CCS, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Case Manager (CCM) preferred
  • Software Knowledge: Proficiency in relevant RCM software tools and analytics.Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint). Familiarity with efficiency tools (automation, CoPilot, etc.) is a plus.
  • RCM Knowledge: Understanding of the healthcare outsourcing industry/competitors and knowledge of local Philippines regulations and industry standards.
Leadership Skills:
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams of 20+ employees, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Ability to independently lead teams, set project direction, develop key deliverables, escalate risks, and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience in a matrixed environment and managing team economics (utilization, budgets).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills ability to create impactful presentations and proposals.
  • Success in managing multiple priorities and building strong relationships across stakeholders.
