Your RoleAs a
Director - Revenue Cycle, you will:
- Establish, build, and lead the Philippines-based Revenue Cycle team, including infrastructure setup, hiring key personnel, and defining operational processes.
- Develop and execute the growth strategy for the Revenue Cycle capability while maintaining high standards of delivery quality and performance.
- Oversee day-to-day operations in close collaboration with Huron global operations, particularly teams in the US and India.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-shore leadership on workforce planning, team effectiveness, and role definition within a matrixed environment.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for cross-shore project teams, driving timely issue resolution.
- Build strong relationships with global counterparts and stakeholders, acting as a cross-shore ambassador and fostering a one-team culture.
- Coordinate with corporate stakeholders (HR, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development) to support team needs and administrative requirements.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team, promoting coaching, mentoring, and structured career path development.
- Develop and manage the division budget, monitor financial performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards in partnership with local and global stakeholders, identifying and mitigating operational risks.
- Partner with US-based sales teams to pursue growth opportunities, expand the client base, develop new services, and enhance existing offerings.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What You NeedNon-negotiables- At least 10 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management, including 5 years managing RCM operations for US-based clients.
- Minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership role (Director level or higher).
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Strong experience in Revenue Cycle Management operations, including:
- Clinical RCM (Clinical Documentation Improvement/Coding, Utilization Review, Clinical Denials & Appeals) and/or
- Non-clinical RCM (Insurance Verification/Authorization, voice and customer service functions).
- Hands-on experience with large EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
- Proven experience in building a new RCM solution, service line, or team (organic growth).
Preferred skills/expertise- Experience working in the Philippines RCM industry.
- Master's degree or credential in business, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
- Professional credentials such as MD/RN, CCDS/CDIP, CCS, CPHQ, or CCM preferred.
- Proficiency in RCM software tools and analytics, and strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Familiarity with automation and efficiency tools (e.g., CoPilot) is a plus.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams of 20+ employees, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Ability to independently lead teams, set project direction, develop key deliverables, escalate risks, and influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment, managing utilization and budgets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create impactful presentations and proposals.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities and building strong cross-functional relationships.
