Position Overview
The Project Management Director is responsible for leading and overseeing multiple projects and programs to ensure delivery excellence, client satisfaction, and strategic alignment with organizational goals. This leader drives project management best practices, manages cross-functional teams, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute project management strategies to support BPO operations and client objectives.
- Oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and achievement of quality standards.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers and coordinators.
- Collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders, and functional leaders to define project scopes, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Establish and monitor project management processes, tools, and methodologies to drive efficiency and consistency.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation plans to address project challenges and obstacles.
- Report project status, progress, and outcomes to executive leadership and clients.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and champion change management across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within BPO or a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of BPO operations, client management, and service delivery models.
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-site projects.
- PMP, Prince2, or other relevant project management certification highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead teams through ambiguity and change.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
