Director of Information Technology

A well established construction firm in Cebu City involve with real estate projects is currently seeking for an IT Director (permanent; hybrid work setup) as part of its expansion locally:

Work duration: Mon-Sat (hybrid work setup usual 8AM-5PM)

Job Summary:

The role is responsible for overseeing the company's overall technology strategy and ensuring that IT systems and infrastructure support the organization's goals. He will provide leadership, vision, and strategic direction for the development and implementation of information technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute the company's IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
2. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including infrastructure, security, applications, and support services.
3. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend investments to improve efficiency and innovation.
4. Ensure data integrity, cybersecurity, and compliance with industry regulations.
5. Lead digital transformation initiatives, including cloud migration, ERP systems, and automation.
6. Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and implement solutions.
7. Manage vendor relationships, software licensing, and IT procurement.
8. Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the performance of IT systems and services.
9. Build and lead a high-performing IT team, focusing on professional development and retention.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (master's preferred).
2. 8–10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, ideally in a mid-sized company.
3. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, business systems (e.g., ERP, CRM), and cybersecurity practices.
4. Proven experience with strategic planning and budget management.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, etc.).
2. Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools.
3. Change management and process improvement expertise.
