Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Lead the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business strategies and investment decisions.
• Partner with senior leadership to establish financial goals aligned with corporate objectives.
• Provide financial guidance on strategic initiatives, business expansion, and new investments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
• Monitor business performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze variances and provide recommendations to improve financial results.
• Establish and track key financial and operational KPIs.
• Deliver insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with department heads to evaluate business performance and resource allocation.
• Conduct profitability, cost-benefit, and scenario analyses.
• Support pricing strategies, business cases, and investment evaluations
• Develop and present management reports and executive dashboards.
• Communicate financial results, trends, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial performance indicators.
• Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial governance requirements.
• Support audit and regulatory reporting requirements as needed.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA, CPA, CMA, or CFA designation is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 10-15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership FP&A role.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business performance management.
• Experience supporting senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
• FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, Food Service, or Multi-site Operations experience is preferred.
