Job Description
The Digital Marketing Officer is responsible for strengthening bank's online presence by developing, implementing, and optimizing digital marketing strategies that increase Google visibility including other digital platforms and drive online engagement to boost loans and savings applications. This role requires a data-driven marketer that understands local market behavior and effectively uses digital platforms to identify, target, and engage potential customers and clients.
Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across social media and Google platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement, and local visibility;
• Analyze campaign performance using data-driven insights, track key metrics, and continuously refine strategies to improve results,
• Create, manage, and monitor social media campaigns to effectively promote the bank's products and services;
• Can handle and improve Meta ads, Google and TikTok ads.
• Can handle and monitoring all social media platforms especially Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and Linkedlin.
• Present weekly performance reports to executives.
• Utilize digital marketing tools, including SEO and SEM (Google Ads), to improve search rankings, drive targeted traffic, and generate qualified leads;
• Strengthen the bank's Google presence through keyword optimization, local SEO, and management of Google Business Profile and listings;
• Optimize website and landing pages to improve user experience, ensure mobile responsiveness, and increase online loan and savings applications;
• Implement retargeting strategies to re-engage website visitors who did not complete applications or interact with ads;
• Identify and engage potential customers, including individuals and local business clients, seeking loan and savings solutions;
• Develop targeted audience strategies using data insights and digital tools to effectively reach and convert prospects;
• Analyze campaign performance using a data-driven approach, track key metrics, and continuously refine strategies for better results;
• Collaborate with internal teams and branch staff to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with business goals and community engagement efforts.
Qualifications
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in digital marketing with a strong background aligned to the responsibilities outlined above.
• Strong knowledge of Google tools, including SEO, SEM, and Google Ads.
• Experience in local SEO and targeting geographically specific audiences.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and optimize campaign performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
