General Description
The Digital Buyer will work hand-in-hand with the Digital Manager, along with other ad operations specialists in managing all digital requirements of the unit
- The role will provide exposure to the full digital media cycle - from planning and media buying to campaign implementation, optimization, reporting, and post-campaign analysis. The prospective candidate will work closely with internal teams, clients, and media partners.
- For candidates with limited or no prior experience, training and coaching will be provided on digital media planning, buying platforms, campaign processes, and relevant tools.
- Develop proficiency in digital media platforms, tools, and software used for planning, buying, reporting, and campaign optimization. Also identify opportunities to leverage these tools, platforms, tech, and solutions to improve campaign effectiveness and efficiency.
- Reports directly to the Digital Manager and maintains accurate digital spend tracking and campaign documentation.
Media Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of holistic digital media plans across Social, Programmatic, Search, Video, Display, Rich Media, E-commerce, and other relevant platforms, based on campaign objectives, target audience, research, budget, creative requirements, and KPIs.
Support the planning and execution of digital campaigns, progressively taking ownership of assigned campaigns and platforms as experience develops.
Support digital campaign buying and implementation, including:
- Assist in media negotiations and coordination with media/platform partners
- Campaign Estimate (CE) management, including CE preparation, client alignment, CE tracking, and monthly actualization
- Develop and maintain media plans reflecting campaign objectives, KPIs, audience insights, research, and creative requirements
- Coordinate campaign materials and asset requirements with creative agencies, brand teams, and relevant stakeholders
- Conduct regular campaign monitoring, reporting, and optimization based on KPIs, budgets, timelines, and platform requirements
- Assist in post-buy analysis and reconciliation of campaign billing and invoices
- Coordinate with Finance on signed CEs, Certificates of Completion, cost encoding, invoicing, and payment status
- Support added-value negotiations and prepare added-value recaps for clients
- Maintain accurate campaign documentation, trackers, and status reports
Account Management Responsibilities
Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, internal teams, media partners, and other stakeholders through timely, responsive, and professional communication.
Maintain visibility and accountability of:
- Ongoing projects, timelines, budgets, and invoices
- Digital trends and relevant consumer behavior developments
- Campaign status, issues, and required actions
Support the Client Service and Digital teams in client status meetings, media reviews, presentations, and campaign discussions.
Prepare campaign updates, competitive scans, digital insights, and supporting materials for client presentations and internal discussions.
Accurately manage and track client budgets through timely preparation of billing books, spend trackers, and accrual reports.
Take reasonable precautions to protect client investments by monitoring supplier/platform commitments and escalating potential delivery or billing issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, Media, or any related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in digital media, advertising, marketing, e-commerce, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Prior internship, freelance, school work, or personal experience involving digital marketing, social media, e-commerce, analytics, or advertising is an advantage but not required.
- Basic understanding of digital platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, programmatic, e-commerce platforms, or other digital media channels is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn digital media planning, buying, campaign management, analytics, and optimization.
- Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, data, and performance metrics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides, or demonstrates willingness to develop these skills.

Nice-to-Have Experience
The following are advantageous but not required:
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads Manager, DV360, or other digital buying platforms
- Google, Meta, TikTok, or other digital marketing certifications
