JOB SUMMARY:

The Media Sales Planner role will support internal sales teams by building and structuring media plans and proposals from sales requests and RFPs.

What does a day in the life of a Digital Media Planner (Pre-sale)/Media Sales Planner look like

• Build media plans based on sales requests and RFPs using Booster (order management system)
• Support advertising formats including banners, newsletters, print, and sponsorships
• Participate early in the sales cycle to support proposal development and planning
• Prepare and structure media plans and proposals for the sales team
• No post-sale responsibilities (handoff to traffickers and account managers after approval)
• Light external communication for client asset requests during the proposal stage
• Perform data entry and updates in CRM and internal systems
• Non-negotiable: strong emphasis on Excel proficiency and data accuracy
• Ensure accuracy of builds to minimize revisions and back-and-forth with sales teams

What are the required qualifications of a Digital Media Planner (Pre-sale)/Media Sales Planner

• 1–3+ years of digital advertising sales planning experience preferred
• Must have advanced MS Excel skills and very high attention to detail
• Strong communication skills for both internal collaboration and external client asset coordination
• Comfort with detailed, repetitive work and a self-starter mindset
• Experience with Prisma IOs or Mediaocean is a significant plus (those documents are the hardest part of the job)
• Familiarity with Operative or Salesforce is beneficial but not required
