Job Description

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will elevate online presence, manage brand storytelling across digital channels, and drive visibility for music performances, educational programs, and an upcoming book launch through strategic campaigns and data-driven execution.

The Qualifications We Seek

Core Experience

  • 3 to 5+ years of professional digital marketing experience
  • Proven track record managing websites, CMS platforms(WordPress, Wix, or similar), and digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing
  • Experience with Google Analytics, social media insights, and marketing automation tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to craft compelling narratives
  • Portfolio demonstrating successful digital marketing campaigns or website development
  • Project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong research and organizational skills

Additional Skills

  • Experience with video marketing, content creation, or multimedia production is a plus
  • Social media advertising proficiency (Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
  • Familiarity with classical music, performing arts, or music education industries
  • Knowledge of human rights advocacy marketing or nonprofit promotion
  • Experience with book marketing or author promotion campaigns
  • Experience working with educational programs or university partnerships
  • Bilingual abilities (English and other languages, particularly European languages) helpful for connecting with international audiences

Your Daily Tasks

Website Development & Content Management

  • Audit and redesign the current website to enhance user experience, visual appeal, and functionality
  • Implement a modern, responsive design aligned with international artistic standards
  • Expand content sections for concerts, educational programs, biography, and multimedia portfolio
  • Integrate blog functionality for insights, teaching philosophy, and advocacy work
  • Establish SEO best practices and maintain fresh, updated content

Music Business Promotion

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies for concert performances and recitals
  • Manage event promotion campaigns across email, social media, and digital advertising
  • Build partnerships with classical music venues and cultural organizations
  • Coordinate digital ticketing and audience engagement
  • Manage relationships with music promotion platforms and directories

Book Launch & Author Marketing

  • Develop comprehensive marketing plan for memoir publication
  • Create and optimize author landing pages across digital platforms
  • Coordinate pre-launch, launch, and post-launch campaigns
  • Manage social media storytelling and book-related content
  • Align marketing efforts with publishing team
  • Develop email campaigns for announcements and events
  • Pitch book to media outlets, podcasts, and interview platforms
  • Create compelling content around the artist's journey and achievements

Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Develop cohesive strategy across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms
  • Create and curate content showcasing artistry, teaching, leadership, and advocacy
  • Manage advertising campaigns targeting music enthusiasts and readers
  • Track analytics and optimize performance

Multimedia Content Creation

  • Collaborate on professional video content featuring performances and interviews
  • Produce blog posts, articles, and long-form content
  • Organize existing media assets
  • Develop press-ready media kit
  • Create visual assets highlighting achievements and programs

Email Marketing

  • Build and segment email lists
  • Develop campaigns for concerts, program registrations, and book promotions
  • Create newsletters with artistic and advocacy updates
  • Track performance metrics and optimize engagement

Partnerships & Strategic Outreach

  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with music organizations and educational institutions
  • Coordinate with university programs for course marketing
  • Build relationships with advocacy organizations for collaborative promotions
  • Develop co-marketing opportunities with strategic partners
  • Establish media partnerships

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track KPIs across all initiatives
  • Provide monthly performance reports
  • Refine strategy based on data insights and emerging trends
