We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist for full marketing agency client based in Australia. This role will be responsible forplanning, executing, optimising, and reporting on digital marketing campaigns with a strong focus onGoogle Ads paid search,Paid social (Meta as a minimum),SEO and organic social content.

Qualifications and Attributes

  • At least 2 years in a digital marketing role handling live paid campaign
  • Solid hands-on experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads, including optimisation and reporting
  • Previous experience in Australian client is preferred
  • Very good written and spoken English; able to explain performance and issues clearly to Australian stakeholders.

Key duties

  • Build and manage Google Ads campaigns, especially paid search (search, basic Performance Max, remarketing).
  • Set up and manage Meta Ads campaigns (Facebook and Instagram) including audiences, creatives, and budgets.
  • Support SEO and organic social activity, including keyword application, basic on page optimisation, and posting content drafted by the client or creative team.
  • Monitor campaigns daily or at agreed intervals, adjusting bids, budgets, keywords, and ads.
  • Identify issues such as low CTR, low conversion rate, or poor quality score and act on them.
  • Proactively suggest tests or changes to improve performance, not just wait for instructions.
  • Set up and maintain conversion tracking using GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, and basic events.
  • Use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio or similar to build and update reports.
  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights for the Perth team, including short written commentary.
  • Ensure campaigns align with each client's brand positioning and messaging.
  • Check all ads and landing pages for correctness before go live.
  • Maintain clean, well organised account structures for easier management and auditing.
  • Work closely with the onshore team, taking briefs, asking clarifying questions, and giving status updates.
  • Manage workload across multiple client accounts and deadlines.
  • Participate in check in calls, provide progress updates, and flag issues early.

    • Zapier experience is a plus
    • Adobe Photoshop experience is a plus
