About The Client
Our client is a Florida and Georgia personal injury law firm that has expanded into producing original feature films, reality television, and media content. As their entertainment division continues to grow, they are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager (Film & Entertainment) to lead the digital marketing strategy for film and media releases from announcement through post-release.
This role will work across multiple entertainment projects, collaborating with creative teams, producers, publicists, and external partners to build audiences, drive engagement, and maximize the success of each release through innovative digital marketing campaigns.
About The Role
The Digital Marketing Manager will own the digital marketing strategy and execution for multiple feature films and entertainment projects throughout their entire release lifecycle. From announcement through theatrical, VOD, streaming, and post-release campaigns, this individual will build audiences, drive engagement, and maximize each title's commercial success through an integrated mix of paid media, organic social, influencer partnerships, clipping campaigns, and creative content.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience marketing films, television, or entertainment properties and is equally comfortable developing strategy, launching campaigns, managing creators, analyzing performance, and optimizing results across multiple simultaneous releases.
Role Responsibilities
Strategy & Campaign Ownership
- Develop the marketing strategy for each film release, including audience segmentation, positioning, platform selection, campaign timelines, and budget allocation.
- Translate creative assets into phased marketing campaigns across the entire release lifecycle.
- Coordinate campaign timing with internal stakeholders and external partners to maximize campaign impact.
Paid Media
- Plan, launch, manage, and optimize paid campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Monitor budgets and optimize campaign performance based on key marketing metrics, including CPC, CPA, CTR, conversions, and ROAS.
- Set up and maintain conversion tracking, UTM structures, and attribution reporting.
Social Media Management
- Build and manage branded social media accounts across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X.
- Develop and execute organic content calendars aligned with campaign objectives.
- Manage community engagement, respond to audience interactions, and monitor brand sentiment.
- Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and visual identity across all social channels.
Content & Creative
- Collaborate with creative teams and freelance editors to produce platform-native, short-form content optimized for social media.
- Test creative assets, messaging, and campaign concepts to improve engagement and conversions.
- Coordinate production of marketing materials including trailers, clips, graphics, and promotional content.
Influencer & Community Marketing
- Identify, recruit, and manage influencer partnerships relevant to each campaign.
- Coordinate creator collaborations, promotional campaigns, and community-driven marketing initiatives.
- Manage short-form content distribution campaigns, including creator or clipping networks where applicable.
Campaign Management & Reporting
- Manage multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously while maintaining organized campaign calendars.
- Track campaign performance and provide regular reporting with actionable insights and optimization recommendations.
- Identify underperforming campaigns early and implement strategic adjustments to improve results.
Digital Assets
- Coordinate the creation and maintenance of landing pages, microsites, and other campaign assets.
- Support audience growth through email capture, lead generation, and owned digital channels.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of experience managing digital marketing campaigns with demonstrated success across multiple channels.
- Strong hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and other paid advertising platforms.
- Experience building social media pages from scratch and managing organic content strategies.
- Strong understanding of content marketing, social media growth, and audience engagement.
- Experience working with influencers, creators, or community marketing initiatives.
- Experience directing or collaborating with designers, video editors, or creative teams.
- Proficiency in campaign analytics, conversion tracking, attribution, and performance reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
Preference but not required
- Experience marketing films, television, entertainment, or media releases is preferred but not required. Candidates with strong digital marketing experience from agencies, consumer brands, media, technology, SaaS, e-commerce, or other industries who possess the skills to successfully market a film are highly encouraged to apply.
- Bonus: Experience coordinating with publicists, PR agencies, media partners, production teams, or external stakeholders on marketing campaigns or product launches.
