We are looking for a creative, collaborative, and enthusiastic digital marketer that has broad experience of B2B marketing. This role will be embedded with one of the squads in the Elsevier Research Marketing team and support the day-to-day digital marketing activities of that squad.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of flexibility, efficiency, rigor, an understanding of digital marketing, and a desire to collaborate and get things done.
They will be an essential member of the squad with an opportunity to work on acquisition or engagement initiatives focused on Researcher, Librarian, Research Leader or Funder audiences in multiple regions. Working on innovative initiatives across Academic, Government, or Corporate sectors they will be able to make a real difference to the success of digital marketing activities.
Accountabilities
- Working closely with the digital marketers and other stakeholders in the Field Marketing segment.
- Provide support in setting up, managing, and monitoring initiatives across all digital channels including email. Training in the use of relevant platforms will be provided.
- Use existing dashboards in Adobe Analytics, Tableau, and other reporting tools to monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing initiatives. Produce reports and share as required.
- Support set up and monitoring of A/B testing campaigns. Monitor campaign performance, and provide ongoing updates and results.
- Support publication and maintenance of web pages including updating of content (based on provided content), links, and graphics. CMS training will be provided.
- Support publication and updating of blog posts including updating of content (based on provided content), links, and graphics. CMS training will be provided.
- Support housekeeping activities including updating of documentation and content repositories, creation of campaign codes, other as required.
- Support sourcing and manipulation of creative assets for use in initiatives across digital channels
- Assist in process and stakeholder management
- Carry out admin tasks as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree holder
- B2B marketing experience
- At least 1-year hands-on experience on digital marketing, social media marketing and campaigns implementation
- Experience of basic image editing/manipulation tools
- Experience of CMS tools an advantage
- Communication skills: Comfortable in presenting his/her team's projects and results to various stakeholders. Proactively reaches out to stakeholders to provide projects status.
- Some project management experience an advantage
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience in the use of reporting and analytics tools Adobe Analytics, Tableau or similar is a plus
