Role Description

The Digital Marketing Assistant manages digital content, promotions, and community engagement strategies for the Lay Bare Group of Brands. The role supports campaign execution, strengthens customer communication through Viber and MyTime, and ensures that all brand content reflects Lay Bare's tone, values, and strategic initiatives. Overall, this position plays a key role in enhancing brand presence, driving customer engagement, and maintaining consistent communication across all digital platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities

Content and Campaign Execution

  • Develop and manage monthly content calendars for the Lay Bare Group of Brands ensuring alignment with each brand's tone and seasonal promotions.
  • Publish and schedule daily content across social platforms (includes but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor in planning trend-based and brand-specific digital campaigns.

Community and Social Engagement

  • Monitor and respond to audience interactions, messages, and comments in a timely, brand-appropriate manner.
  • Identify opportunities for increasing engagement, relevance, and visibility across digital platforms.

Influencer and UGC Coordination

  • Scout and coordinate with KOLs, influencers, and UGC creators for campaigns and always-on content.
  • Ensure deliverables align with brand aesthetics and messaging.

Content Production and Visual Support

  • Assist in conceptualizing and producing reels, lifestyle shoots, and TikTok videos tailored to the beauty and kids market.
  • Coordinate with the Creative Team for visual materials and editing requirements.

Campaign Analysis and Optimization

  • Track performance of all content and promotions, analyze insights, and recommend improvements.
  • Support efforts to optimize paid and organic content for better reach and conversion.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Timely rollout of monthly content per brand
  • Increase in engagement rate (likes, comments, shares)
  • Growth in follower count across platforms
  • Number of influencer/UGC quality outputs delivered per campaign
  • Number of quality content assets produced monthly (reels, posts, stories)
  • Improved traffic or booking inquiries linked to campaign content

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Multimedia Arts, or any related field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Prior experience in digital marketing, social media management, or community engagement is an advantage, especially within the beauty, wellness, or lifestyle industry.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Canva, CapCut, or similar visual editing tools for basic content creation and video editing.
  • Experience or interest in community management, handling client inquiries, and influencer coordination.
  • Bonus: Basic exposure to paid digital advertising or CRM tools such as MyTime.

Soft Skills and Attributes

  • Strong communication and copywriting skills with a good sense of visual style and brand tone.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • Creative and trend-aware stays up to date with digital and TikTok trends relevant to each brand.
  • Collaborative team player who can work closely with creatives, operations, and other marketing units.
  • Positive, proactive, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.
