Job Description

The Project Support for Digital Education is a project-based role (1 year contract) responsible for the direct coordination, logistical support, and meticulous data management for the implementation of the CENTEX Digital Education programs in different project locations, with a primary focus on math classes. This pivotal role supports teachers, students, and parents in leveraging adaptive technology to improve instructional quality and enhance learning outcomes. Furthermore, this position will actively support the planning and preparation for the expansion of the program.

Coordination and Implementation

  • Coordinates operations and logistical needs of the Digital Education Program to ensure that activities are implemented within given timelines including the precise deployment of technology carts (laptops and tablets) and ensuring consistent high-speed internet connectivity in participating classrooms.
  • Assists in the development and enhancement of learning materials and ensure readiness for implementation across Digital Education project locations.
  • Prepares presentations for meetings and program orientations in close coordination with the Digital Education team.
  • Co-facilitates during presentations, trainings and coaching sessions in close alignment with the Project Lead and Education Manager.
  • Coordinates schedules of the team and ensures that relevant members and stakeholders are present in activities.
  • Supports the preparation and dissemination of materials and resources essentials for project implementation across all sites.
  • Coordinates proactively with suppliers for the logistical needs of all activities to be conducted.
  • Collaborate closely with the team during implementation to ascertain all systems go.
  • Maintains a database of community contacts for ease in communication pre-, during and post implementation.
  • Recommends solutions and next steps appropriate to the context of each location and program.
  • Assists in the future expansion plans of the project.

Stakeholder Relations and Advocacy

  • Coordinates with key community stakeholders across locations on all project activities related to Digital Education.
  • Supports program updates to local stakeholders as directed by the Project Lead, ensuring clear communication.
  • Assists in building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in Manila and Batangas to lay the groundwork for successful potential program expansion.
  • Anticipates needs of stakeholders relevant to the projects and actively communicates these to Digital Education team for further discussion.
  • Builds and maintains professional relationships with community partners and stakeholders to facilitate a healthy and progressive working relationship essential for the program to succeed.
  • Engage and rallies stakeholders to align with the goals of the programs

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting

  • Coordinates and supports rigorous data collection for the Digital Education program including tracking students learning progress and other impact measurements through adaptive education technology data and DepEd assessments.
  • Assists in the preparation of comprehensive reports and proposals, contributing relevant data and insights from the different implementation locations of Digital Education.
  • Actively assists in collecting data and preparing preliminary reports related to the potential expansion of the program to Batangas.
  • Supports in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation related to the programs of the Education Division including but not limited to project activities, data and reporting.
  • Supports in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation related to the Digital Education Program including project activities, data, and digital resources.

Budget, Finance, and Compliance

  • Files expenses related to the Digital Education programs ensuring proper documentation and adherence to financial guidelines and procedures in a timely manner.
  • Assists with local budget preparation and financial documentation as needed, providing accurate financial reports from the field.
  • Assists in preparing budgets and financial documentation related to the program and its expansion.

Risk and Issue Management

  • Assists in promptly resolving any project-related issues that may arise during the implementation of the Digital Education Program, especially those related to technology or connectivity.
  • Proactively assists in identifying and mitigating potential risks related to the program expansion

Cross-Department Collaboration and Policy Development

  • Coordinates with cross-functional teams within the organization during the implementation of the Digital Education project to ensure effective and efficient implementation.
  • Collaborates with other relevant departments to ensure a smooth transition and successful implementation of the program and its expansion.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in an education-related field
  • Preferably with 2-3 years of experience in project coordination or support, in an educational technology, IT, or related field.
  • Background in education, community work, technology or another similar field
  • Strong familiarity with digital learning tools, educational technology platforms, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Strong familiarity of the dynamics in working with the Department of Education.
  • Exceptional organizational and logistical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in data collection and basic reporting, with an understanding of data privacy.
  • Teaching experience/ experience working in or with the Department of Education is an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with teachers, students, and community members.
  • Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive in addressing challenges, and committed to achieving program objectives.
  • Experience or strong interest in supporting program expansion and scaling initiatives is a significant advantage.
  • Must be willing to work in Makati on a hybrid set-up. Occasional field work in Batangas may also be required.
  • Must be physically fit and willing to travel for field work.
