Job Description

The Digital Content Editor coordinates and handles the implementation of social media and outreach content for LSEG Academy, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and strategic Academy objectives. This role acts as a liaison between strategy and execution, supporting audience engagement and thought leadership initiatives that showcase the Academy's expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Calendar Management: Maintain and update a detailed blog, social media and outreach content calendar for LinkedIn, email campaigns, and other channels.
  • Content Coordination: Collaborate with Academy learning teams (who work together with subject matter experts) to source, adapt, and repurpose content (blog, carousel, video, audio, infographics).
  • Campaign Execution: Schedule and publish posts across platforms; ensure timely delivery of promotional and valuable content.
  • Collaborator Engagement: Proactively follow up with contributors for content, approvals, and assets; handle workflows to keep projects on track. Collaborate with brand, social media, and design teams
  • Creative Adaptation (growth area): Transform existing content into engaging formats (e.g., video snippets, carousel posts, blog, infographics) for different platforms.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all content aligns with LSEG brand guidelines and Academy tone of voice.
  • Performance Tracking (growth area): Monitor engagement metrics and report on campaign performance using analytics tools; find opportunities for optimisation.
  • Documentation & Promo Materials: Coordinate creation of promotional assets and maintain an organised repository of marketing materials.

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to handle multiple calendars and collaborators.
  • Understanding of multimedia formats and social media guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal skills for collaborating across teams.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, scheduling tools, and basic analytics.
  • Comfortable working with designers, branding teams, and in-house specialists.

Experience

  • Prior experience in content coordination.
  • Exposure to social media platforms and email marketing tools.
  • Familiarity with LSEG Academy content or similar educational/learning products.
