About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Principal Systems Administrator DevOps Lead to drive automation, scalability, and reliability across infrastructure and application deployments. If you excel in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud environments, this role is a perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications.
- Drive and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Lead the overall DevOps strategy across development, QA, and production.
- Collaborate with Development and IT Ops teams to streamline deployments.
- Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and security.
- Manage and support container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).
- Ensure compliance, governance, and security across automated workflows.
- Troubleshoot complex deployment and infrastructure issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion DevOps best practices.
- Enhance release processes and overall system stability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, System Administration, or related technical roles.
- Strong background in cloud, automation, and large-scale infrastructure.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Strong scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
- Deep familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
- Expertise in Docker & Kubernetes.
- Experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
- Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and security protocols.
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- GitOps (ArgoCD), service mesh (Istio/Linkerd).
- Serverless computing experience.
- Knowledge of SOC 2 / ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.
- Cloud cost optimization and DevSecOps exposure.
