Job Overview
Working as an IT DevOps Operations Engineer, you'll be managing the operations, maintenance, responding to incidents, keeping the environment secure and automating repetitive tasks.
Roles and responsibilities:
Incident and problem management
- Provide Level 1 support for multiple teams
- Incident Triaging
Stakeholder and customer management
- Identifying and analyzing stakeholder and customer needs and requirements
- Providing solutions and guidance to customers
Monitoring and troubleshooting
- Performance monitoring
- Proactive identifying problem areas of a system, i.e. software bugs,
- misconfigurations, bottlenecks
- Trend analysis
Availability and reliability
- Increasing availability and reliability of our production systems
- Capacity planning
- Technical risk and health assessment
- Keeping systems compliant with technical state health assessments
- Certificate management
Automation
- architecting, creating and automatically managing an army of runners or bots that fully automate tasks across infrastructure and applications
- building and integrating tools that will assist in improving system availability, reliability, and performance
Key Capabilities/Experience
- Work comfortably with Linux and Windows
- Develop and run applications in the cloud (Azure DevOps, Azure)
- Continuously integrate and deploy (CI/CD, Git, YAML, IaC)
- Comfortably write automation scripts (Terraform, Bash, Python)
- Familiarity on architectural styles (Microservices, Event-driven, Rest Apis)
- Demonstrate strong collaboration skills, contributing to team discussions and cross-functional initiatives
- Able to work on Agile Way of Working
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficient level of experience in CI/CD
- Proficient level of handling incident and problem management
- Effective communications skills (oral and written)
- Experience with cloud solutions
