DevOps Engineer (EKS)

What role will you play

You will design, build and maintain scalable backend systems using Java (Spring Boot) or Python, delivering high‑performance cloud‑native applications on AWS. You will deploy, manage and optimise applications on Kubernetes, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and ensure system reliability through effective monitoring and observability practices.

You will collaborate across teams on full‑stack development, including contributing to UI components and using Python for automation and data processing. In addition, you will integrate applications with external APIs and data platforms, support production environments, and troubleshoot issues to maintain system stability and uptime.

What you offer

• 4+ years of backend development experience using Java (Spring Boot) or Python
• 1-2 years of hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, including application deployment and production support
• Solid working knowledge of AWS services such as S3, EC2, EKS, API Gateway, and Route 53
• Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and containerised applications using Docker
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki
• Experience of the following is an advantage:
• Exposure to modern UI frameworks (React/Angular/Vue.js)
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Familiarity with Agile practices, microservices architecture and API integrations.
