About Visy Philippines:
Visy, a global leader in sustainable packaging and the largest manufacturer of food and beverage packaging in Australia and New Zealand, is establishing its capability hub, in Manila. We have partnered with ANSR to establish a global center of excellence for Visy in Philippines. You will be employed by ANSR, who shall be your employer of record, and you shall be assigned to work exclusively for Visy.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the DevOps team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
- Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline code deployment processes. Collaborate with development, operations, and other teams to ensure smooth and reliable software delivery.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure and automation tools.
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met in all DevOps processes.
- Monitor and optimize system performance and reliability.
- Manage incident response and RCA processes to ensure high availability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps
Experience & Qualifications;
Mandatory:
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps or system engineering roles, with 2+ years in a leadership or managerial position.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Experience dealing with critical issues
- Leadership competency in orchestrating team efforts to drive results and improvement.
Skills (Technical, Business, Leadership):
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Understanding of Agile development methods
- Experience implementing and managing infrastructure-as-code.
- Proven track record of leading and managing teams.
- Relevant certifications in DevOps and cloud technologies such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), are a plus.
- Project management skills
- Familiarity with agile and DevSecOps practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
- Expertise in IT infrastructure, networks, server administration, cloud technologies and security
