Position: Developer (.NET / Java / Enterprise) - Junior
Number of hours: 40 hours / week
Schedule: EST
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain application features using .NET, Java, or enterprise development frameworks.
- Fix software defects and perform root cause analysis for assigned issues.
- Write and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and implement feedback from senior developers.
- Assist with technical documentation, system specifications, and user guides.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and Project Managers to deliver assigned features.
- Support application testing, deployment, and production issue resolution.
- Follow coding standards, security guidelines, and software development best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and team meetings.
- Continuously improve technical knowledge and development skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in software development or application development.
- Basic knowledge of C#/.NET or Java programming.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP), SQL, and REST APIs.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- AWS Cloud Practitioner
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
- Scrum Foundations
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (preferred)
- Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE (preferred for Java developers)
