We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT support team. This is an entry-level opportunity suitable for fresh graduates who are passionate about IT infrastructure, troubleshooting, and end-user support.
You will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to internal users, ensuring smooth operation of desktop systems, hardware, and IT services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level (L1) technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and common applications (Microsoft Office, email clients, browsers, etc.)
- Support desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals
- Perform hardware diagnostics and basic break-fix support
- Assist in user account setup (Active Directory, email accounts, password resets)
- Log and track incidents using a ticketing system
- Escalate complex issues to Level 2 support when necessary
- Perform routine IT maintenance and system updates
- Support onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Ensure adherence to IT policies and security standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (IP address, LAN, Wi-Fi)
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills in English
- Customer-service oriented mindset
- Willing to work on-site and in shifting schedules (if required)
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Internship experience in IT support or helpdesk
- Knowledge of Active Directory
- Basic understanding of ITIL processes
- Experience using ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
Successful applicant can expect monthly salary of PHP16000 to PHP18000
