Desktop Engineer

IDC is looking for Desktop Engineer for one of our Projects
This role focuses on endpoint support, scientific IT asset management and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for Windows, Linux, macOS and iPad environments.
• Support endpoint onboarding, offboarding, technology refresh, OS patching and upgrade activities.
• Manage scientific IT hardware, software and software licensing throughout their lifecycle.
• Maintain inventory records and ensure compliance with licensing and asset management requirements.
• Participate in technology evaluations, Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) and endpoint-related projects.
• Generate compliance, asset and operational reports while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate project activities with users, vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Common Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant desktop, endpoint support or IT operations experience.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
