Job Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining the mall's design standards by establishing design requirements and reviewing proposed design concepts in alignment with business and aesthetic standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish project requirements, scope of work, budget, and schedule
- Develop and propose design concepts aligned with project aesthetic goals; present to clients for approval
- Prepare detailed drawings, material lists, and specifications for construction
- Ensure all designs comply with regulatory and safety standards
- Identify qualified contractors, facilitate bidding processes, and recommend contract awards
- Monitor and inspect contractor work to ensure adherence to approved designs
- Implement necessary design adjustments to address unforeseen site conditions
- Prepare punch lists and monitor resolution of construction deficiencies
- Certify completion of projects and ensure quality standards are met
- Conduct regular inspections of mall features and finishes based on EDD standards
- Recommend areas for restoration or renovation as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
- Registered Architect (PRC Licensed)
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in the architectural industry
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Willing to work onsite in SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City
