Job Title: Design Engineer II - Civil Structural
Key Responsibilities
- Perform civil and structural design and engineering for power system projects, including substations, transmission line tower foundations, generating stations, and related facilities.
- Prepare plant layouts, overhead and underground layouts, and structural design plans.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings using civil, architectural, and structural design software.
- Conduct design studies, feasibility assessments, and technical evaluations.
- Prepare material take-offs, cost estimates, and technical bid evaluations.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and project stakeholders regarding technical requirements.
- Witness acceptance tests and evaluate equipment and system performance when required.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering codes, standards, and specifications.
- Prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, and project records.
- Assist in resolving technical design issues and provide engineering solutions.
- Perform other engineering and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- PRC License required.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in the design of plant layouts, foundations, and structural systems, preferably within the power industry.
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD, or equivalent).
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
