About the Role

We are seeking a Design Engineer with strong Geotechnical Design experience to support the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure and reclamation projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project leads, clients, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Lead/Project Manager in delivering projects within schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
  • Support the management and resolution of contract-related matters throughout project delivery and closure.
  • Ensure all engineering and project activities are performed in accordance with approved methodologies and procedures.
  • Maintain and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders and provide regular project updates.
  • Attend progress and ad hoc meetings and document key decisions and action items.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and materials for client and management meetings.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure critical deadlines are achieved.
  • Provide project administration and coordination support as required.
  • Ensure all project documentation is maintained and compliant with project frameworks and standards.
  • Undertake additional project-related tasks as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Geotechnical Design experience is required.
  • Experience in geotechnical investigations, foundation design, slope stability analysis, earthworks, ground improvement, and related geotechnical engineering works.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure, marine, or reclamation projects.
  • Experience in dredging, reclamation, rock works, wharf, jetty, or other coastal infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Able to work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Willing to accept project-based employment.
  • Willing to be assigned in Manila.
