Project Manager – Brand Launch & Account Execution
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Project Manager
to own the end-to-end launch process for new brands and products. This critical role
ensures that once a brand/product is authorized, the follow up and execution are
flawless. You will serve as the central coordinator and accountability driver across
Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Account Management to guarantee timely
setup, PO issuance, delivery, and shelf execution — while also supporting
post-launch activities such as promotions and ongoing account health.
This is a high-impact position that directly protects revenue, improves customer
(retailer and brand) satisfaction, and reduces internal friction. The ideal candidate
thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves driving accountability, and excels at using
tools like spreadsheets and trackers to keep complex, multi-stakeholder projects on
schedule.
Key Responsibilities
● Own and maintain the Brand Launch Tracker for all active and upcoming
accounts.
● Manage the full launch lifecycle: from verbal authorization → vendor setup
(ESN, documentation, item setup) → PO generation → freight coordination →
on-shelf execution.
● Conduct daily/regular check-ins with internal stakeholders (Supply Chain,
Operations, Sales, Brand Management) to surface risks early and drive
resolution.
● Act as the bridge between Sales/Brand Management and Operations —
proactively flagging delays, missing information, or bottlenecks and escalating
when necessary.
● Back-schedule all launch milestones and maintain visibility on critical path
items.
● Coordinate post-launch activities including new item forms, promotions, and
ongoing account management requirements.
● Challenge and support team members to hit deadlines and improve
processes.
● Provide regular visibility to leadership on launch status, risks, and wins.
● Help train and support new team members on launch processes as the
company scales.
● Identify and recommend process improvements to reduce launch timelines
and prevent future delays.
● Manage additional company projects as needed/directed
Qualifications & Experience
● Project Management Experience: 2+ years managing cross-functional
projects (formal PM training or certification a plus).
● Strong proficiency with Excel and spreadsheet-based tracking systems
(formulas, filters, conditional formatting, back-scheduling).
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with multiple departments
and external partners.
● Demonstrated ability to drive accountability without direct authority (carry a
big stick mentality).
● Understanding of critical path methodology, task dependencies, and
milestone management.
● Experience in CPG, food & beverage, retail, supply chain, or account
management is highly preferred.
● Self-starter who is comfortable working in a growing company with evolving
processes.
