Job Title- Deputy Manager- Operations
Location- Iloilo
Job Tye- Onsite, Flexible Shift
Key Responsibilities
People and Performance Management
Directly manages and coaches Assistant Managers to ensure performance targets are met.
Monitors daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and addresses gaps quickly.
Conducts performance check-ins, coaching sessions, and follow-ups across teams.
Identifies high performers and underperformers and works with the Group Manager on action plans.
Reinforces discipline, attendance standards, and professional conduct. Operations Oversight
Ensures day-to-day operations run smoothly across all assigned teams.
Acts as escalation point for operational issues that Assistant Managers cannot resolve.
Supports implementation of new processes, policy updates, and workflow changes.
Ensures compliance with company standards, client requirements, and internal controls. Administrative Responsibilities
Oversees and reviews administrative deliverables such as reports, trackers, schedules, and documentation.
Ensures accuracy and timeliness of performance reports submitted to the Group Manager.
Coordinates with other departments to resolve administrative or operational dependencies.
Maintains proper documentation for performance actions, coaching, and incidents. Leadership and Communication
Serves as a bridge between the Group Manager and Assistant Managers.
Cascades directives, priorities, and expectations clearly and consistently.
Provides grounded, data-based recommendations to the Group Manager.
Represents management in meetings when delegated by the Group Manager. Continuous Improvement
Proactively identifies inefficiencies in processes, staffing, and execution.
Recommends practical improvements based on data and frontline realities.
Drives Accountability For Agreed Improvement Plans. Qualifications And Competencies
Strong understanding of operations management and performance metrics.
Proven ability to lead leaders, not just individual contributors.
Solid administrative discipline and attention to detail.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to balance oversight, coaching, and hands-on problem solving.
Comfortable enforcing standards while maintaining professional relationships. Authority and Decision Scope
Makes day-to-day operational decisions within set guidelines.
Approves routine administrative and performance actions.
Escalates policy-level, people-risk, and strategic decisions to the Group Manager.
Qualifications: Education
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
Relevant certifications in leadership, operations, or performance management are an advantage but not required Work Experience
At least 3 5 years of experience in operations or team management
Minimum 1 2 years in a leadership role handling supervisors or Assistant Managers
Proven track record of managing team performance, hitting KPIs, and improving results over time
Experience in handling administrative functions such as reporting, scheduling, and documentation.
