Role Description
The Deputy Manager Human Resources is a full-time, on-site role based in Pasay.
This position supports the HR Manager in overseeing the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and HR policy implementation. The role involves coordinating hiring activities, conducting interviews, and ensuring smooth integration of new team members. It also includes managing HR documentation, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies. The Deputy Manager HR will collaborate with department heads to address staffing needs, support training and development initiatives, and promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications
Normally at least seven (7) years of progressive HR experience, including meaningful exposure to two or more HR disciplines and at least two (2) years in a supervisory, team-lead or comparable role. Experience in employee/labor relations, talent/OD, HR operations, organization design, workforce planning or multi-site operations is strongly preferred. Experience in an owner-led/family-managed, distribution, warehousing, manufacturing or consumer-products environment is an advantage.

- Candidates should possess skills in HR policy development, documentation, and compliance with labor regulations.
- Candidates should possess skills in HR data management, reporting, and use of HR information systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in communication, teamwork, and stakeholder coordination across departments.
- Relevant bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in supervisory or managerial HR roles, preferably in distribution, FMCG, or related industries, is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Pasay, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality and professional integrity.
