We at Coforge are hiring a Finance Manager / Financial Reporting Manager with the following skillset:
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements, including supporting schedules, financial analyses, and required disclosures.
- Lead and perform month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage and coordinate quarterly and annual audit requirements with external auditors and support audit-related inquiries.
- Research new Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and assist in the implementation of new accounting standards, including related disclosures.
- Prepare and review balance sheet account analyses and reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Review and monitor Fixed Asset Accounts, Prepayment Schedules, and Bank Reconciliation Schedules.
- Monitor and reconcile General Ledger accounts, including employee-related accounts, intercompany accounts, and liability accounts.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to facilitate accurate month-end adjustments.
- Support accounting operations through financial analysis, internal control enhancement initiatives, and special projects.
- Generate and issue customer invoices while ensuring billing accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements, including PEZA, BIR, SEC, BSP, and LGU regulations.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to the Finance team to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with deliverables.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and control effectiveness.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA qualification is required.
- At least 7–8 years of progressive experience in Financial Reporting, General Accounting, or Finance Operations and minimum of 2 years Managerial experience.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and financial statement preparation.
- Experience managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Hands-on experience in account reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and intercompany accounting.
- Proven experience coordinating with external auditors and managing audit requirements.
- Knowledge of Philippine regulatory requirements including PEZA, BIR, SEC, BSP, and LGU compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Experience in Shared Services, BPO, IT Services, or multinational environments is an advantage.
