Job Summary
In this role, you will be instrumental in reinforcing the implementation of our project pipeline across the APAC region. Reporting directly to the Head of EPC APAC, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the EPC lifecycle—from initial structuring and tendering to final commissioning. You will act as a regional leader, ensuring that our high-quality standards, engineering requirements, and rigorous financial forecasts are translated into operational excellence with adherence to project budgets.
Core Responsibilities:
- Regional Leadership: Partner with the Head of EPC to provide strategic oversight of construction and execution across APAC, guiding projects from advanced development through to full operation.
- Team Development: Build and lead local and regional EPC-Management teams, fostering expertise in Health & Safety (H&S), Contracting, Engineering and Project/Site Management. .
- EPC Lifecycle Oversight: Oversee the structuring, tendering, and contracting phases for all projects, ensuring rigorous management of the full execution phase through to Commercial Operation Date (COD) and provisional acceptance.
- Governance & Compliance: Enforce ib vogt standards in H&S and Quality. Implement rigorous KPIs related to safety, schedule, and budget, while developing risk management plans to ensure asset delivery.
- Process Excellence: Drive continuous improvement by establishing standardized project management templates and managing virtual data rooms to enhance global knowledge sharing.
- Resource Management: Oversee cross-project resource allocation and capacity planning, ensuring technical teams are optimized across various development stages.
- Line Management: Provide direct leadership and functional management for all EPC personnel within the APAC region.
Requirements:
- Experience: 10+ years in renewable energy project management, with a specific focus on utility-scale solar (wind or storage experience is highly advantageous).
- Seniority: 3+ experience at a Senior Manager or Director level within construction or project execution for large-scale energy infrastructure in a multimarket portfolio management role.
- Delivery Models: Proven track record working within developer-led, EPC, and successfully delivering constructed and operational RE power plants.
- Geographical Reach: Demonstrated ability to manage complex project portfolios across multiple geographies in Southeast Asia.
- Travel: Flexibility to travel regularly across the region to support project sites and local teams.
