Department Head, IT Management Services / Business Continuity Leader

Job Purpose

IT Management Services

•Responsible for the development and implementation of IT governance policies and procedures, developing technology plans and objectives, and managing risks.

•Plans, executes and manages projects and activities related to IT controls assurance, risk management, information security and quality assurance.

•Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and maintains an effective system of internal controls.

•Assists the IT Division Head in formulating strategic technology projects and initiatives for the division to support the business.

Business Continuity Leader

•Leads the business continuity initiatives mandated by RCBC and works with the assigned Division Heads and/or assigned Business Information Officer (BIO) assigned for business continuity to ensure compliance with the requirements of the bank

•Develops and maintains policies and procedures related to business continuity.

•Identifies and addresses potential risks, including natural disasters, cyber-attacks, and other events that may disrupt normal operations.

Job Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology or related field

•8+ years of experience in technology management and IT governance

•2+ years of experience in conducting IT audit and information security

•Knowledge in leading IT practices related to governance, information security and risk management

•Knowledge of audit procedures and industry standards

•In-depth understanding of business continuity management governance frameworks, strong knowledge of business continuity practices and protocols, operational risk management, and in-depth knowledge on RBSC operations and IT practices

KEY COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

•Possess a combination of business, technical (i.e., COBIT, ITIL, NIST, ISO/IEC 27001 and PCIDSS) and leadership skills and competencies.

•Proven experience in developing and implementing IT policies and procedures

•Strong project management, leadership and problem-solving skills.

•Solid experience in business continuity management.

•Knowledge of risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity principles and procedures
