Job Description

Role Overview

As the Department Head, your primary mission is the end-to-end management of the bank's Deposit Products. Reporting to the Retail Transformation Division Head, you will conceptualize directional strategies to integrate products, channels, and services into a unified customer journey. You will act as a vital bridge between internal business units and external regulatory bodies to ensure our offerings remain competitive, compliant, and customer-centric.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Enhancement: Conceptualize and formulate directional strategies for product enhancements and new initiatives to drive revenue and volume growth.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the product marketing mix (Product, Pricing, Promotions, Place, and Resources) and manage the lifecycle of assigned deposit products.
  • Regulatory & Administrative Compliance:
  • Handle administrative work for internal and BSP requirements and secure approvals from Upper Management and regulatory offices (BSP, Legal, Compliance) for new launches and ensure adherence to AML and Terrorist Financing Prevention Programs.
  • Operational Excellence: Update old branch circulars and maintain current product manuals and manage changes in interest rates and monitor product performance daily.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct regular market competitive analysis and monitoring of other banks to stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Collaboration & Campaigns: Lead campaigns and special projects as directed by the Group Head (GH). Equip branch distribution channels with sales tools, customer profiles, and leads. Integrate Customer Journey Maps to ensure a seamless customer delight experience.
  • Budget & Governance: Prepare and manage annual budgets (OPEX/CAPEX) and ensure good governance across all division initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Education: College graduate, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Communication-related courses.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in product development, management, or marketing, ideally within a financial institution.

Required Skills

  • Functional Knowledge: Deep understanding of banking products, channels, sales practices, and branch operations.
  • Familiarity with advertising, PR, and events management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows-based programs, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical, highly creative, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Independent thinker with a proactive, self-motivated, and assertive attitude.
