Graduate of Dental Technology, Dental Laboratory Technology, or a related course
With at least 1 year of experience in a dental laboratory or related field
Knowledgeable in dental laboratory procedures and fabrication of dental appliances/prostheses
Familiar with CAD/CAM technology and dental design software is an advantage
With good attention to detail, accuracy, and manual dexterity
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Willing to work onsite in Mandaluyong City

Responsibilities
Framework Preparation & Ceramic Processing
Receive and inspect zirconia, e.max, and other restoration frameworks endorsed by the CAD/CAM Technician.
Perform sintering of zirconia restorations in accordance with manufacturer specifications and laboratory procedures.
Trim, adjust, and prepare frameworks for ceramic application and finishing.
Perform ceramic build-up, contouring, anatomical shaping, and occlusal refinement of restorations.
Apply ceramic layering techniques to achieve proper morphology, strength, and function.
Perform staining, glazing, polishing, and surface texturing to produce natural-looking restorations with accurate shade, translucency, and surface characteristics.
Fabricate invisible retainers and other laboratory appliances as required.
Esthetics & Restoration Finishing
Match prescribed shades using accepted shade guides and laboratory standards.
Reproduce natural tooth anatomy, contours, and esthetic characteristics to achieve high-quality restorations.
Ensure restorations meet laboratory standards for fit, function, appearance, and overall workmanship before endorsement to Quality Control.
Perform minor adjustments and refinements as necessary to improve restoration quality.
Quality Verification & Case Accuracy
Review dentist prescriptions, work orders, and technical instructions prior to beginning ceramic work.
Conduct self-inspection of completed restorations by checking margins, contacts, occlusion, anatomy, shade, and overall workmanship before submission to Quality Control.
Identify defects, inconsistencies, or technical concerns and perform necessary corrections prior to endorsement.
Assist in evaluating remake cases and recommend corrective actions to improve laboratory processes.
Equipment, Materials & Laboratory Maintenance
Operate and maintain ceramic furnaces, polishing equipment, hand instruments, and other laboratory tools used in restoration finishing.
Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of assigned equipment.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of ceramic materials, stains, glazing materials, and other laboratory consumables.
Report equipment malfunctions, damaged tools, or material shortages to the immediate supervisor.
Documentation, Safety & Compliance
Maintain accurate records of case progress, shade selections, material usage, and completed restorations.
Ensure proper identification, labeling, and traceability of all assigned cases throughout the production process.
Comply with laboratory safety, infection control, and housekeeping standards.
Handle patient-related information and laboratory records with confidentiality and professionalism.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Coordinate with the Plasterer, CAD/CAM Technician, and Quality Control personnel to ensure efficient workflow and timely case completion.
Communicate technical concerns, case requirements, and production issues to the Department Head and laboratory team.
Assist in training or mentoring junior laboratory personnel when assigned.
Stay updated on advances in ceramic materials, esthetic techniques, and dental laboratory technology to support continuous improvement.
General Responsibilities
Manage assigned workload to meet laboratory turnaround time (TAT) requirements while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality.
Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by Management or the Department Head in support of laboratory operations.
