Job Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Dental Insurance - Customer Service to support the daily front desk operations of a dental healthcare account. This role is essential in delivering a smooth and positive patient experience while maintaining efficient and accurate clinic support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirmations, follow-ups, and urgent visit coordination
- Handle inbound and outbound patient communication with professionalism and clarity
- Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements
- Coordinate schedules with dentists, hygienists, and specialists to support efficient clinic operations
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with data privacy standards
- Assist with billing support, claims coordination, and payment processing
- Support surgery scheduling and special-case patient coordination
- Review and prepare daily schedules to ensure operational efficiency
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare customer service, preferably in dental support or insurance verification
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs and Sheets)
- Typing speed of at least 40–50 WPM
Preferred
- Educational background in Dentistry or a related field
- Experience in dental clinic front desk operations or insurance coordination
