Job Summary: Leads demand forecasting and planning activities to ensure the Supply Chain Logistics Division (SCLD) meets customer demand efficiently, while optimizing inventory and resources through data-driven insights and close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Forecasting & Data Analysis:
Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales data, applying statistical models, and incorporating promotional activities and industry trends.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to align demand planning with overall business objectives; integrate baseline data and market intelligence through collaborative discussions.
Demand Planning Process Leadership:
Lead the monthly demand planning review and the Business Unit (BU) Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring continuous improvement in forecast accuracy.
Technology & Tools Utilization:
Leverage demand planning systems and forecasting tools to enhance forecast reliability and planning efficiency.
Reporting & Insights Communication:
Prepare and deliver reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate key demand planning insights and recommendations to senior management.
Risk & Opportunity Assessment:
Conduct scenario planning to identify potential risks and opportunities, supporting proactive decision-making and contingency planning.
Data Maintenance & Integrity:
Ensure accurate and up-to-date master data across all relevant planning tools and systems, maintaining high data quality standards.
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy/Commerce/Economics or any 4-year course preferably with units or a graduate of Master's in Business Administration (MBA).
With 3-5 years logistics experience at Supervisory/Managerial level.
Must be willing to report onsite at least four (4) days per week in Ortigas, Pasig, with one (1) work-from-home day weekly.
