Demand and Supply Planner

A fast-growing eCommerce enabler operating across Southeast Asia's biggest marketplaces is looking for a Demand & Supply Planner to drive optimal stock availability across all brand partner stores and lead end-to-end inventory and forecasting operations.

About the role:

The Demand & Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring optimal stock availability across all brand partners at any given time, identifying gaps, and providing pivot plans to minimize opportunity loss. You will facilitate the S&OP process including demand forecasting, supply review, inventory planning, and joint forecasting with external stakeholders.

What you'll own:

→ Demand planning across multiple time horizons and marketplaces/social platforms

→ Forecast management — reviewing historical sales trends, researching demand drivers, preparing forecast data, and evaluating results

→ Forecast accuracy maintenance through cross-functional collaboration, especially for high-impact events like promotions and supplier stock issues

→ Inventory replenishment planning — managing and coordinating activities to meet changing levels of product demand

→ Inventory level monitoring across all platforms to maintain optimal quantity and mix and maximize working capital

→ Replenishment leadership — ensuring inventory is in the right quantities and assortment across various locations

→ Supply chain collaboration with brand partners to ensure timely replenishment across different ordering processes

→ Monthly management reviews — communicating forecast and inventory estimations, reporting on accuracy, and proposing improvement solutions

→ Risk assessment support and mitigation activities

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or Management Engineering
• At least 2 years of professional experience in Supply Chain or a related field
• Experience in FMCG
• Strong Excel proficiency and data analysis skills
• Solid mathematical and statistical knowledge
• Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
• Strong presentation and communication skills — both written and verbal
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
• Detail and process oriented with a high level of execution
• Strong time organization and sense of urgency
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Strategic and critical thinker
