Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Be a subject matter expert on cost and usage data across cloud providers.
Participate in automating, integrating, cleaning, and maturing the Multi-Cloud FinOps team's processes and data.
Ability to evaluate and tackle complex problems and understand the implications of different business approaches.
Develop data pipelines, reports, and Metrics via automated solutions to centralize import information for consumption within FinOps teams.
Enable a cost conscience culture via data and insights.
Contribute and drive the Multi-cloud FinOps Roadmap.
Participate in product evaluations and some architectural design review sessions to ensure the platform goals are adhered to.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in IT or analytics; MBA/engineering degree
Cloud admin with certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP or ability to attain within 12 months.
Possess a current FinOps certification, or ability to attain within 6 months.
Required Skills:
Overall 4-8 years of experience IT
3-4 Years of developing data & analytics products via the cloud
Technical Stack: SQL, Python, Google Big Query , Power BI / Excel
Good Understanding of Cloud Costing and Billing
Knowledge in cloud provisioning with infrastructure as code
Previous experience working in a mature agile environment.
Ability to operate at multiple altitudes, prioritize workload across multiple projects and tasks.
Exceptional social skills, able to establish strong rapport and partnerships at all levels of the organization.
Remarkable analytical skills and the ability to distil sophisticated information.
Ability to work independently in a distributed, fast-paced environment.
