The Delivery Lead is responsible for managing the delivery of the bank's digital programs and projects, ensuring they are completed on-time, on-scope, and on-budget. This role involves collaborative planning and execution with Business Enabling Teams, while providing thought leadership and governance to stakeholders. The Delivery Lead plays a crucial role in aligning projects with the bank's strategic goals and enhancing customer experience through effective project management.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the overall delivery management of projects within the managed portfolio.
- Define and finalize project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with business units and stakeholders.
- Create and manage detailed timelines for project execution, ensuring resource alignment.
- Optimize resource utilization to deliver project activities within required timeframes and quality standards.
- Coach, mentor, and supervise project team members, fostering accountability and positive action.
- Update the project team on project status based on agreed frequency.
- Clear blockers for SMEs to enhance performance and delivery.
- Facilitate learning through post-mortem and sprint retrospective sessions.
- Review technical designs provided by the Solutions Architect with the technical delivery team.
- Identify, monitor, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and action plans.
- Monitor and manage project expenses to ensure adherence to cost baselines.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
- Establish and ensure appropriate governance functions for the program.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope and devise contingency plans.
- Ensure implemented solutions align with the Solutions Architect's design and Enterprise Architecture.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years in IT industry or related field Scrum, PMP, and IT Trainings.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles.
- Experience with Agile methodologies beyond Scrum.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring project teams.
- Ability to influence and consult effectively with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong accountability and adaptability skills.
