Job Title: Delivery Head – Logistics & Freight Operations

Role Overview
We are seeking a Delivery Head to lead and scale a large, high-performing operations team currently comprising 450 FTEs, with significant growth expected. This role is critical to driving the company's next phase of expansion, ensuring operational excellence, and transforming delivery capabilities across global logistics operations.
The ideal candidate is a senior leader with deep expertise in freight forwarding and shipping, combined with a strong transformation and continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Leadership & Delivery Management
- Lead end-to-end delivery across freight forwarding and logistics operations
- Oversee a large-scale organization (450+ employees) with responsibility for performance, efficiency, and quality
- Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and client expectations across global markets
2. Transformation & Process Excellence
- Drive operational transformation initiatives to improve productivity, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Identify automation, optimization, and digital opportunities across workflows
3. Stakeholder Management
- Engage with senior global stakeholders, including clients and internal leadership
- Act as a strategic partner in delivering business outcomes and driving customer satisfaction
- Operate effectively in a global, cross-cultural environment
4. Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing teams
- Strengthen leadership bench and succession planning
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence
5. Systems & Technology Utilization
- Drive adoption and optimization of logistics systems, particularly CargoWise One
- Leverage technology to enhance operational control, visibility, and reporting
Key Requirements
Experience
- 12–18+ years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics operations
- Proven experience managing large-scale delivery teams (300+ FTEs)
- Strong background in CargoWise One (must-have)
- Demonstrated success in transformation, process optimization, or operational excellence initiatives
Leadership & Exposure
- Experience working in global or multinational environments
- Exposure as an expatriate or managing international stakeholders is highly preferred
- Strong executive presence with ability to influence at senior levels
Skills & Competencies
- Deep domain knowledge in freight forwarding (air/ocean, customs, end-to-end logistics)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies (certification is a plus)
- Ability to scale operations and drive cultural change
