Job Description
- Safely transport goods and packages to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Perform vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to ensure safety.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and obtain necessary signatures.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating a vehicle.
- Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in logistics or transportation is a plus.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of driving experience, preferably in a delivery role.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong navigation skills and ability to use GPS; excellent time management skills.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Ability to maintain a clean and organized vehicle; responsibility for load security and handling.
- Qualities and Traits: Reliable and punctual; strong communication skills; ability to work independently.
- Working Conditions: Diverse weather conditions; may involve long hours of driving and occasional heavy lifting.
