Job Description

Responsibilities

Accept and unload deliveries from suppliers, couriers, and internal transfers
Inspect incoming parts and materials for damages, discrepancies, or missing items
Verify item descriptions, quantities, and part numbers against purchase orders, delivery receipts, or invoices
Properly document received items using forms, inventory systems, or ERP software
Tag or label incoming parts with stock codes or barcodes, if applicable
Coordinate with purchasing or quality control teams when issues are found (e.g., wrong item, defective part)
Ensure proper storage and organization of received items in the warehouse or stockroom
Maintain cleanliness and order in the receiving area

Delivery & Rider Duties

Transport parts between branches, warehouses, suppliers, or customers using company-issued motorcycle or delivery vehicle
Ensure accurate and complete documentation (e.g., delivery receipts, acknowledgment forms) during pickups and drop-offs
Handle deliveries safely and professionally, ensuring parts are not damaged in transit
Maintain the delivery vehicle in good condition and report any issues promptly
