About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Defects Estimator to prepare quotes for fire system repairs, maintenance, and minor works. You'll review technician reports, calculate costs, prepare quotations, and coordinate with customers to secure approvals.

You'll be working with an Australian fire protection and electrical contractor serving various industries, including government, healthcare, education, and commercial sectors.

What You'll Do

• Review technician reports and identify required repairs.
• Prepare quotations for materials, labour, and repair costs.
• Send quotes and follow up with customers for approval.
• Maintain accurate job and quotation records.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

What We're Looking For

• Fresh graduates to candidates with up to 3 years of experience.
• A degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Strong numerical skills and an interest in cost estimation and pricing.
• Good English communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn new systems and technical concepts.
• Experience in estimating, maintenance, or fire protection is an advantage. Familiarity with Uptick is a plus!
