Job Summary
The Deal Manager is responsible for the execution and management of investment banking transactions, including debt and equity capital raising, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), valuations, and financial advisory engagements. The role involves financial analysis, transaction execution, stakeholder coordination, project management, and client relationship management to ensure the successful delivery of mandates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute investment banking transactions, including IPOs, follow-on and rights offerings, debt capital market transactions, syndicated loans, project finance, M&A, and financial advisory engagements.
- Prepare financial models, valuations, pitch books, presentations, and other transaction-related materials.
- Coordinate with clients, regulators, legal counsels, auditors, and other stakeholders to support successful deal execution.
- Manage transaction timelines, deliverables, and key milestones to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct financial, industry, and market analyses to support transaction recommendations.
- Build and maintain client relationships while supporting business development and origination activities.
- Assist in preparing client proposals, marketing presentations, and other business development materials.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Business Administration, Management Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong academic credentials; MBA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualifications are an advantage.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, capital markets, securities brokerage, valuation, or transaction advisory.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv, or similar financial platforms is preferred.
- Must be amenable to work onsite and be assigned to Makati or Ortigas.
