As a
Deal Advisory Services Associate, you are at the forefront of high-stakes financial strategy. This role is designed for an analytical powerhouse who wants to move beyond traditional accounting into the world of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). You will act as a key investigator for private equity investors and corporate buyers, dissecting target companies to uncover risks, validate earnings, and provide the insights that drive multi-million dollar investment decisions.
Your Impact
- M&A Due Diligence Specialist: Participate in complex financial due diligence engagements. You will analyze the financial and operational results of target companies by reviewing accounting data and conducting high-level interviews with management to validate the story behind the numbers.
- Architect of Quality of Earnings: Assist in writing detailed reports and performing deep-dive financial analysis. Your focus will be on the quality of earnings and assets, identifying potential liabilities, and evaluating how findings impact the ultimate valuation of the target company.
- Strategic Deal Structuring: Identify critical issues for purchase price reductions, deal structuring, or even deal termination. You will evaluate the effects of seasonality and cyclicality on cash flow requirements and prepare pro forma financial information to project future performance.
- High-Level Collaboration: Serve as a vital member of engagement teams alongside senior client executives, attorneys, investment bankers, and private equity investors. You will provide advisory services that help clients maximize financial opportunities while managing the risks inherent in complex mergers.
What You Bring
- The Credentials: Graduate of Accountancy or a similar field. A Master's degree or being a US/PH CPA (or actively pursuing licensure) is highly preferred.
- Technical Foundation: At least 2–3 years of experience in Public Accounting, specifically within Audit or Transaction Advisory Services. You possess a strong understanding of US GAAP and the M&A lifecycle.
- The Toolkit: Advanced MS Office skills, with a primary focus on complex Excel modeling. You are an independent worker capable of handling multiple projects, conducting deep research, and meeting strict deal-driven deadlines.
- Communication Prowess: Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal) are essential for drafting detailed advisory reports and collaborating with international stakeholders.
