Learn how Deal Advisory provides services to clients within the context of an independent public accounting firm.
Actively contributes to pre-engagement documentation, planning and updating of appropriate forms.
Assist with transactions by completing assigned tasks, populating the appropriate working paper sections and keeping records current through to completion of the engagement.
Suggest and perform analysis relevant to the transaction, industry and client needs using data checked for internal consistency and accuracy.
Use research tools to source and interpret data and information on targets, clients and their business environment to support Deal Advisory marketing and proposal activities.
Apply technical knowledge in analyzing engagement documents and schedules, interpreting project findings and communicating them to the members of the engagement team in a clear manner using an appropriate format.
Build knowledge of the parties to a transaction and demonstrate the ability to explain the mechanics of the deal.
Understand the rationale for a transaction and the basis of valuation and uses this knowledge to deliver valued advice which meets client needs.
Interpret results from analysis and reports on the implications on the deal and the client, including possible solutions.
Qualifications:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Finance, Management Engineering or related courses
Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Has experience in deal advisory services reports, financial/valuation models, business planning, etc
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
