Job Description

The DCX IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing advanced troubleshooting and resolution for hardware, software, and network-related issues. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the efficient operation of IT systems by assisting with the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of IT equipment for end-users. Additionally, the IT Support Specialist will contribute to knowledge management by documenting recurring technical issues and supporting the development of internal support guides and FAQs.

The daily tasks will vary, so it will be necessary to be very flexible in this position. Other necessary characteristics of the job include strong attention to detail, ability to work well with co-workers, and a desire to learn new work skills.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Technical Support and Troubleshooting

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Work closely with Level 1 support to ensure efficient resolution of user-reported problems.
  • Escalate unresolved complex technical issues to higher-level support or engineering teams when necessary.

IT Equipment Configuration & Deployment

  • Assist in configuring, deploying, and maintaining IT equipment such as laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Ensure all IT assets are properly set up, documented, and maintained according to company standards.
  • Support remote users with IT setup and troubleshooting to maintain seamless operations.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Document recurring technical issues and solutions to enhance support efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Process Excellence team to update and maintain IT support guides and FAQs.
  • Continuously improve troubleshooting processes based on user feedback and technical developments.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • At least 2 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues in a corporate environment.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Have previous direct experience in ITILstructured IT support.
  • Amenable to work hybrid/ onsite at our Sta. Rita, Pampanga office.

ROLE DETAILS

  • Industry: Outsourcing
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Workdays: Monday through Friday
  • Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST
  • Written and spoken English skills: Very Proficient
  • Salary: PHP 40,000.00
  • Location: Hybrid (Sta Rita and Clark Pampanga Office / 1-2 Onsite a month)
