DBMN – Custody Operations – Branch Operations Analyst

Position Overview

Operations provides support for all Deutsche Bank's businesses to enable them to deliver transactions, processes and reporting to clients. We process Custody trade settlements/payments, Corporate Action events and reporting.

Your key responsibilities

• Perform BAU to process Securities Settlements, Corporate Actions Events, FX/Cash processing for offshore and local clients.

• Perform reconciliations related to the assigned product operations (Nostros, W/A, sundries and all related accounts)

• Investigate account breaks and provides supporting documents for account substantiation and break resolution

• Generate and retrieve data from different systems required forreporting - MIS, Client and Regulatory Reporting

• Escalate issues /concerns encountered with the service provider or any settlement or control issues noted

• Sign off on all critical and BAU related processes within dbChecklist.

• Ensure timeliness, completeness and accuracy of processing as per client's SLA

• Coordinates with various internal and external stakeholders such as Clients, Counterparties, Depositories, Issuers, Transfer Agents and others, to ensure complete transactions/instructions are captured and any BAU related concerns are properly raised and addressed

• Performs other functions such as participating in the Business Continuity Management (BCM) activities and assisting the FA team in ensuring the Key Operating Documents (KOD) and other internal procedural documents are always up to date.

• Assists in preparing audit schedules, financial statements and other internal/external reports

• Participates on automation projects, system enhancement/tests and regional initiatives for processing re-engineering, scalability improvement etc.

• Ensure strict adherence to DB all internal and external process guidelines including compliance and legal to maintain robust control environment.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's Degree in either Math, Finance, Economics, Accountancy, Business Administration or its equivalent

• Prior experience in Custody trade settlement, corporate actions event processing and payment clearing will be an advantage

• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

• Applicant must have ability and desire to work in a busy, high-performance environment, managing tight deadlines. Willing to render overtime whenever necessary

• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task

• Excellent communication skills and ability to confidently interact with a diverse set of stakeholders and clients
